This is the best time tracking app for Quickbook Desktop users, hands-down. It features fast and flawless integration with Quickbooks data and no restrictions or limitations such as those found in the majority of cloud-based Quickbooks timers. This app allows for both manual and automated time tracking for current, simultaneous and recursive activities; something no other Quickbooks time tracking app allows. It is highly configurable for individual needs, but provides a highly intuitive and straightforward interface. We've installed the app on many phones over the past 6 years, and the fact that it has not updated, yet still runs perfectly on modern Android versions and accommodates the latest version of Quickbooks Desktop is testimony to its excellent design. The only thing that I'd wish for is that the developer put up a donation button on their website so that we can contribute in order to preserve this software and assist in expanding is user base.
I've been using this app every week since 2011. It's excellent!
Very darn handy. Been using now for years with QuickBooks Enterprise Edition with timer activities from an HTC to Galaxy S5 phones.
Emailed for an issue for importing my timer list (permissions setting on my phone) at 4:50pm on a Friday, and got an answer from the CEO at 4:55 the same day. If that customer support says anything about the quality of this app, you know it's good. Been a user since January '16 and besides the issue that was a fault of mine, I have had no problems with it.
It's About Time is an excellent piece of software. It hasn't been updated for some time, but continues to work faithfully. I did have an issue updating to the new MotoPure with OS 6.0 Marshmallow. The MotoPure allows use of an SD card which can be formatted as Internal or Portable. I couldn't get the program to access Android's /storage/emulated/0 folder. I formatted it as Internal and then needed to go to the "Settings" "Storage & USB" "Internal Storage" "Apps" screen, then select the It's About Time app and change the "Storage Used" to "Internal Storage." Everything worked fine after that. Transferred all my data from the old phone using the "Backup" and "Restore" feature flawlessly. Would like to see a few things updated on the software, but still functioning just fine. Import/Export of timesheets directly to QBook Pro 2016 is great!
Once set up it works great! Been using it for several years know with no issues. Got a new MotoG4 and I could not import my files from QB. Emailed support and they had me up and running again in a couple hours. Thanks Chris R.!! I'm an independent contractor that bills by the hour different clients each day and was considering the new QB online and the app that goes with it, but in order to do time tracking from my phone it would cost $40/mth!, it was not worth it for me considering It's About Time app works just as well and I can get the QB desk top version to last 4-5 years for what I need.
I've been running my business off of this app since 2011. It works though multiple phones and OS updates. Thanks.. RE 2011: Excellent app! Excellent customer service! Suggestions for features could be taken more seriously though. Thanks
Previous update crashed and did not allow you to choose start stop time, support team answered my phone call and released version 2.0.15 fixed these problems ! Great support ! Been using this app now for 5 years.
Easy to track my time and paid for itself in the first day. Exports to Quick Books easily.
If you are in a locality (most of the world) who use dd/mm/year DO NOT buy this application. You can set the appropriate localisation setting within It's About Time but regardless it will export mm/dd/yyyy that will bring times like 03 June 2015 (03/06/2015) into Quickbooks as 6th March 2015. If you only put in a couple times per day or a couple a week maybe you could bother trying to change these in Quickbooks but when you have tens per day it is useless. it would have to be the simplest little bug to spoil a good application and would surely be easily fixed...yet there is no response from the developer and it is apparent that this bug has existed since Paul wrote of it in 2013. Incredible sloth and carelessness. It may not cost a lot but taking any money for it from other than, basically, the United States (and some in Canada) is still fraud. (Definition of fraud: In the context of long term knowledge and there being sales to outside of mm/dd/yyy countries, deception intended to result in financial gain) A pity because in all other respects it is a nice application.
